Parents & Carers
Techniques from the therapy room made practical for you.
Overview
If you're a parent, carer, or support worker walking alongside someone with a disability, you already know that one therapy session a week isn't enough. Progress happens in the kitchen, at mealtimes, in the car. In the moments when you're the only one who's there.
This isn't more jargon to absorb or another framework to master. It's practical, human, and designed to fit your setting and experiences.
Tuned In Connections offers coaching, training, and resources that put connection tools directly in your hands. Not to replace the therapy or the support programs the person you care for receives, but to make all the moments between other programs count. And, to give you real support in the times when you need it most.
Our practice is neurodiversity-affirming. Always supporting, and recognising that one approach does not fit everyone. Connection and wellbeing, theirs and yours, are always the focus.

Frequently asked questions
-
None at all. This isn't music performance or music education. The strategies are drawn from music therapy principles, using rhythm to match, mirror and attune and transferring those principles into everyday interactions.
-
Therapy is something that happens with a qualified clinician in a session. Our coaching and resources are designed to extend the principles of good therapeutic practice into everyday moments, so that you and your child build a deeper connection and the people closest to your child become a consistent source of connection and co-regulation using inclusive communication.
-
Our coaching is built around meeting each child or person where they are, not where we'd like them to be. We'll be honest with you about what's realistic and what to prioritise. We’re focused on connection first, outcomes later.
-
Yes. Parent coaching and support worker training are both available online.
-
Our honest answer is that coaching and training do require a little time commitment however, we’ve kept the components varied and accessible across our offerings. Everything we provide are amplifiers. Our aim is to make what's already happening work harder, not to add another thing to manage.
